Dantheon Reiss is the self-styled Ice King of Vyragoth, a desolate snowbound wasteland located in the Crucible Reach, 8,217 light-years from Earth. He is not a man of intellect, nor a strategist, nor even a leader. He is a brute, a marauder, a savage tyrant who clawed his way to power through sheer barbarism and bloodlust. Born into a forgotten colony abandoned by its corporate overlords, Dantheon survived by preying on the weak, killing for scraps, and relishing the misery of others.
His ascent began when he stumbled upon the Cryogauntlets, ancient relics from a bygone era buried in the ice. The gauntlets fused with his flesh, granting him the ability to freeze anything he touches and channel devastating bursts of subzero energy. Dantheon didn’t understand their origins, but he didn’t care – they made him invincible. With his newfound power, he enslaved the remnants of his colony, forcing them to construct grotesque weapons and machines from scavenged parts.
What Dantheon lacks in intelligence, he makes up for with unrelenting savagery. He views those who oppose him as nothing more than fodder for his brutal whims, often freezing his victims alive to decorate his throne room with macabre ice sculptures. His rule is one of terror, and his philosophy is simple: the strong take, the weak suffer.
Unbeknownst to Dantheon, the Cryogauntlets are powered by dormant nanoids tied to a faceless enemy lurking in the shadows of the galaxy. While he wields their power recklessly, the gauntlets subtly corrupt his body and mind, transforming him into a living weapon.
Cryogauntlets
Ancient biomechanical gauntlets that fuse subzero energy with devastating physical force. They allow Dantheon to freeze enemies, summon icy spikes from the ground, and shatter objects with brutal precision. The gauntlets feed off their wearer, slowly corrupting them into a weapon of destruction.
Chaotic Evil
Dantheon thrives on chaos and domination, caring only for his own survival and pleasure. His cruelty knows no bounds, and he revels in the suffering of others.
Dantheon’s sheer idiocy makes him easily manipulated by more cunning players. His reliance on brute force over strategy often leaves him vulnerable to those who outthink him, and the Cryogauntlets’ corruption may ultimately destroy him.
